Launched in 2015 with over 140 members, Ashtead Vélo is a growing and vibrant cycling community committed to getting people riding their bikes and loving it!
OUR CLUB RIDES
We are a road cycling club and offer a range of rides for most abilities. We adhere to the following guiding principles for all our rides:

Our rides operate on a sign-up basis using an app called SPOND. We ride in groups of up to 6 and the group decides on a destination and a route is posted. There are many experienced cyclists who have ridden with the club for a long time who are able to assist.
Our ride days are Monday morning, Tuesday morning, Tuesday evening (Summer), Wednesday morning, Thursday morning and Sunday morning. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning rides depart from Lucio's, Leatherhead KT22 8AN. Wednesday morning rides depart from St George's Church Cafe, Ashtead KT21 2DA. Sunday morning rides depart from Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall car park, Ashtead. Tuesday evening rides depart from the car park of the Leg of Mutton & Cauliflower pub on the Street in Ashtead, KT21 1AZ . Click the link below to find out more.

With membership at just £85 for the first year (which includes a Club shirt), and £30 thereafter, we offer a number of benefits including discounted British Cycling membership and many local community discounts.
